One ton of diesel seized in apartment raid

The Beirut Fire Brigade seized on Tuesday a ton of diesel stored in barrels inside an apartment in the Beirut region of Salim Salam, Daoud Abou Chakra Street. 

The regiment headed to the apartment after a tip-off stating that a person is storing diesel inside an apartment, which poses a threat to public safety.

The barrels were confiscated and transported to a safe place in order to take legal measures in this regard.
