Energy Minister Fayad meets TOTAL’s member of the Executive Council-[REPORT]

Energy Minister Walid Fayad met on Thursday in France with member of the Executive Board of Total, Global Director of Marketing and Services at the company's headquarters Thierry Bevelmin, whereby the latter affirmed the company's strategic decision to continue its activities in Lebanon despite the difficult circumstances in Lebanon.

 

He also confirmed “the company's readiness to keep pace with the efforts of the Energy Ministry to regulate the oil derivatives marketing sector,” stressing that “the company's support for the minister's proposal to establish a working mechanism for the distribution sector in Lebanon that maintains equality among all its employees.”
