Rai: Every honest dialogue requires trust between interlocutors
Maronite Patriarch Cardinal Bechara Rai stressed on Sunday that “every honest dialogue always requires trust between the interlocutors,” adding that “dialogue means we listen to each other.”

Rai's comments were made during his Sunday's sermon at Bkerke, whereby he pointed out that education is the fundamental guiding force of integrated human development, making people freer and more responsible, saying that “it is necessary to defend and promote peace.”

He then called upon the officials and all those who have political and social responsibilities to go all the way together, that is, intergenerational dialogue, education and work with courage and creativity.
