President of the Republic General Michel Aoun stressed on Wednesday to UN Deputy Secretary-General Amina Mohammed "Lebanon's need for international assistance to face the economic and social conditions it is going through.”
The President also hailed "the efforts of the United Nations Resident Coordinator in Lebanon Najat Rushdie and her cooperation with the Lebanese authorities."
