Red Cross Secretary General Kettaneh to LBCI: The situation of hospitals is severe-[VIDEO]

Lebanese Red Cross Secretary General Georges Kettaneh stated on Thursday during an interview with Nharkom Said TV show on LBCI that “in 2021, they received one million calls on the 140,” noting that today the demand has increased even more because the health crisis has worsened as a result of the departure of a huge number of specialists, doctors and nurses from Lebanon.

 

He also stressed that “the situation of hospitals is severe due to the shortage of equipment and the electricity problem.”

 

"Whether it is relief or health, demand and need are growing, and we are trying to work with our partners to ensure continuity," Kettaneh added.
