"Qalb Lubnan al-Moustakel" list launched on Saturday its electoral project.
In this regard, candidate Farid Heikal Al-Khazen declared that Bkerke which he considers to be a constant, will always be an edifice of sovereignty, freedom, independence, dialogue and impartiality, and that “we will work together to restore the right to live in dignity.”
He also stressed the need to restore pluralism and independent voices facing cartels and juntas that robbed us. He said, "Together we will take back the Lebanon we loved, the Lebanon that raised our heads
before the whole world.”
In turn, candidate Chamel Roukoz announced that "Lebanon is sovereign by defining its borders and consolidating a defensive strategy by limiting weapons to the Lebanese army, expanding foreign policy, Lebanonization of decisions, excluding Lebanon from conflicts, and consolidating the sovereignty of the people."
Besides, candidate Emile Nawfal said: "Our list is distinguished and coherent. While our hearts go to Lebanon, how can they be so heartless." He added, "We want the army to be in control of all Lebanese lands. I am independent, and all relationships with Arabs should be distinguished. It is not acceptable for a Minister to declare they were ‘not allowed to work,’ because if that’s the case, then let them resign.”
Furthermore, candidate Toufic Salloum affirmed, "We will not be false witnesses, instead, we will stand against anyone who tries to steal the last hope of the Lebanese, and we will live up to the trust. One's word is one's bond."
As for candidate Salim Hani, he pointed out that he "will work on specialized industry project and fulfil your desire to remain in Lebanon. As for politics, I will say two words: Bkerke and the Lebanese Army."
Candidate Ahmed al-Moqdad declared, "We will not accept to be humiliated and our youth to be displaced. We will not accept the destruction of our economy. We are candidates who want to build a homeland for citizenship and adhere to coexistence."
From his end, Candidate Tony Khairallah said: "We will preserve the Lebanon we knew, and I will put all my efforts to preserve your rights and the rights of your children. I will also work on a plan for educational advancement as well as ensuring the continuity of the health sector and free medical care."
Finally, candidate of electoral list "Qalb Lubnan al-Moustakel" Chaker Salameh stressed that "hope returns when there is one army with unified weapons, in neutrality, the implementation of expanded decentralization, a fair and independent judiciary, and the accountability of every official who stole people's money."
