PM Mikati: We hope elections would translate people will

Prime Minister Najib Mikati voiced hopes on Thursday that the upcoming parliamentary elections in Lebanon would translate the will of the people who will say their final words in the ballot boxes.

"May 16 is a new day for a phase that we hope will bring good things to Lebanon and the Lebanese and that the plans set by our government will see the light," he stressed.

"I have full confidence that the days to come will bring good news,” Mikati added.
