Mikati holds series of meetings

Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati held on Friday a meeting with World Food Program Representative and Country Director in Lebanon Abdallah Alwardat, and discussed with him the cooperation between Lebanon and the program.

Mikati had already met with Executive Director of the World Food Program David Disley during the climate summit in Sharm El-Sheikh in Egypt a few days ago, whereby he asked him to prioritize the purchase of Lebanese production and increase funds to support the needy Lebanese in this difficult circumstance.

Later in the day, Mikati received Ambassador of Lebanon to the Netherlands Abdel Sattar Issa, who briefed him on the activities carried out by the embassy.

He also received Governor of Beirut Judge Marwan Abboud, and discussed with him the affairs of the capital.
