Constitutional expert Malik explains to LBCI needed quorum for presidential election sessions-[VIDEO]
Constitutional and legal expert Said Malik explained on Thursday that the constitution does not call for the Parliament to hold multiple sessions in order to elect a new president, but rather calls for a single session interspersed with subsequent sessions that result in the election of a president.

Malik’s comments were made during an interview with LBCI’s “Lil Tawdih” TV show whereby he noted that everything that is currently taking place in the Parliament goes towards holding sessions where quorum is lost so that the session is postponed to a later date.
