US Defense focuses on diplomatic resolution for Lebanon-Israel border tensions

The US Department of Defense affirmed that its efforts are focused on reaching a diplomatic solution to tensions along the Lebanese-Israeli border and preventing the conflict from escalating in the region.

Regarding the issue of the aircraft carrier, Eisenhower, the Pentagon announced that the carrier will remain in the Eastern Mediterranean for a brief period before returning to the United States.
