Lebanon's Civil Aviation Authority bans transport of pagers and walkie-talkies on flights

The Lebanese Civil Aviation Authority issued circular No:30/2 to all airlines operating at Rafic Hariri International Airport in Beirut, prohibiting transporting pager or walkie-talkie devices on board aircraft.

The Civil Aviation Authority requested, through the circular, that all airlines operating at Rafic Hariri International Airport in Beirut inform departing passengers that, until further notice, the transport of any pager or walkie-talkie devices is prohibited on board aircraft, whether in carry-on or checked luggage or through air cargo.

The airport's security units will confiscate devices found in violation.
