Israeli strikes hit Beirut’s southern suburbs following Israeli army’s evacuation alert

Late on Saturday, Israeli strikes hit Beirut’s southern suburbs, following new evacuation alerts for residents of Haret Hreik, Choueifat, and Borj El Brajneh.

The blasts were heard across the surrounding area.

A series of Israeli airstrikes are pounding Beirut's southern suburbs, and it was reported that fires were erupted from the targeted sites across different areas.

In addition, Israeli warplanes can be heard hovering over the Lebanese capital.

The National News Agency (NNA) reported that air traffic at Beirut's Rafic Hariri International Airport continues, coinciding with the Israeli strikes on Beirut's southern suburbs.

In addition, several Middle East Airlines (MEA) aircrafts have just landed.

Thick smoke can be seen covering the Lebanese capital and Beirut's Airport.

As violent Israeli strikes continue on Beirut's southern suburbs early Sunday, loud explosions can be heard across the Lebanese capital, reaching to areas outside of Beirut.
