Israeli airstrikes hit Beirut's southern suburbs after new evacuation warnings

Late on Sunday, Israeli forces launched multiple airstrikes on Beirut's southern suburbs, after issuing new evacuation warnings for residents of the Borj El Brajneh and Hadath neighborhoods.

After two initial strikes, a powerful and intense airstrike hit the southern suburbs of Beirut minutes later, with blasts echoing across the city.

The sound of Israeli warplanes hovering over Beirut can be heard as multiple airstrikes still pound Beirut's southern suburbs.

However, it was reported that several airstrikes hit the same site in Hadath, Saint Therese area causing fires to erupt.

The Israeli airstrikes that hit Beirut's southern suburbs an hour ago caused huge explosions in the area, with blasts heard across the Lebanese capital.
