Israeli army alleges that it killed a Hezbollah artillery commander in Blida, South Lebanon

The Israeli army claimed that it targeted and killed a Hezbollah artillery commander in the town of Blida in South Lebanon.

According to Israeli army spokesperson Avichay Adraee, the commander was eliminated in a strike as he was allegedly launching an anti-tank missile toward Israeli territory.

"The operation was carried out with intelligence support from Unit 869, an information-gathering division within Israel’s 91st Brigade," he added.

Adraee claimed that the unit’s surveillance and intelligence efforts have enabled the Israeli army to destroy dozens of Hezbollah facilities, including underground infrastructure, rocket launch sites, and military buildings, as well as to neutralize several Hezbollah fighters.
