Israeli army issues warning to South Lebanon residents as ceasefire takes effect

Avichay Adraee, the Israeli military spokesperson, posted an urgent warning on X addressing residents of southern Lebanon. The message outlined key restrictions following the implementation of the ceasefire agreement.

Adraee wrote: "With the ceasefire agreement coming into effect, and in accordance with its terms, the Israeli army will remain deployed in its positions within southern Lebanon. Residents are prohibited from moving toward the villages that the Israeli army previously ordered to evacuate or approaching Israeli army forces in the area."

He emphasized, "For your safety and the safety of your families, refrain from traveling to these areas. We will notify you when it is safe to return to your homes."
