Lebanon's Defense Minister announces plan to increase army presence in the south to 10,000 troops

Lebanese Defense Minister Maurice Sleem, speaking to Al Jazeera, confirmed plans to increase the number of Lebanese Army personnel deployed in southern Lebanon to 10,000 troops. 

He emphasized the country's commitment to international resolutions and highlighted that Lebanon's sovereignty relies on the full deployment of its military forces along its southern border.
