Israel warns South Lebanon residents to avoid moving toward areas designated for evacuation or approaching Israeli forces

In a statement on X, the Israeli army spokesperson, Avichay Adraee, warned residents of South Lebanon to avoid moving toward areas designated for evacuation or approaching Israeli forces in the region.

The army emphasized that starting from 5:00 p.m. Wednesday until 7:00 a.m. Thursday, all movement south of the Litani River will be strictly prohibited. Those located north of the river must not move south, while those south of the river are instructed to remain in their current locations.

The Israeli army reiterated that its forces are still stationed in southern Lebanon in accordance with the ceasefire agreement.

"Any movement that violates this agreement will be dealt with firmly," he added.
