France, US join monitoring committee for Lebanon-Israel ceasefire: Hochstein says

United States envoy Amos Hochstein announced that the monitoring committee overseeing the implementation of the recent ceasefire between Lebanon and Israel has been expanded.

He revealed that the committee now includes representatives from France and the United States, alongside Lebanon, Israel, and the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL). The United States will chair the committee.

This committee, according to Hochstein, receives any violations, if found, and acts immediately.
