Israeli Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi claims military victory over Hezbollah

On Sunday, Avichay Adraee, the Israeli military spokesperson, announced on X that Israeli Chief of Staff, General Herzi Halevi, visited southern Lebanon to assess the situation alongside senior military officials.

During the visit, Halevi stated, "The true path to addressing Hezbollah is not only through military action but also by promoting a thriving and vibrant region."

The meeting included the Northern Command Chief, the Commander of Division 146, the Commander of Brigade 300, and other officers.

In his remarks, Halevi claimed, ''We have achieved a very clear military victory over Hezbollah, and this is evident. However, true victory, long-term victory, means that many people will live here, that there will be tourism, restaurants, cafes, people cycling, and flourishing agriculture. This is sustainable victory."
