President Joseph Aoun expresses hope for smooth government formation in surprise chat with journalists (Video)

In an unexpected interaction with journalists, Lebanon's President Joseph Aoun shared his optimism about the upcoming government formation process following the designation of Nawaf Salam as prime minister.

“I hope the government formation will be smooth,” President Aoun remarked during a brief and informal conversation. He added, “I just hung up the call with the Prime Minister of Italy,” signaling active international engagement.
