FM Bou Habib meets outgoing ICRC head, discusses humanitarian cooperation

Lebanese Foreign Minister Abdallah Bou Habib met with Simone Casabianca-Aeschlimann, head of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) delegation in Lebanon, on a farewell visit ahead of the end of her tenure.

She was accompanied by Agnes Dhur, who will succeed her in the position.

The meeting provided an opportunity to review the ICRC’s activities in Lebanon, particularly in light of the country’s ongoing crises.

Discussions also covered prospects for humanitarian cooperation between Lebanon and the ICRC and ways to strengthen it.
