Israeli airstrike destroys main road between Syria and Lebanon, cuts power lines

An Israeli airstrike targeted the main road connecting Syria and Lebanon, linking the Lebanese town of Tfail to the Syrian town of Asal Alward in western Qalamoun, on Friday at around 3 a.m.

The strike created a crater seven meters deep, severing the main road and damaging high-voltage power poles, cutting electricity transmission lines between Syria and Lebanon.
