Major General Jeffers in Israel for talks on Israeli withdrawal from South Lebanon: LBCI reports

LBCI reported that Major General Jasper Jeffers, head of the ceasefire monitoring committee and the implementation of U.N. Security Council Resolution 1701, is currently in Israel for discussions with Israeli officials regarding the Israeli withdrawal from southern Lebanon.

According to the sources, General Jeffries is expected to return within the next 48 hours to lead a monitoring committee meeting scheduled for Friday.
