Avichay Adraee says Israeli strike kills senior Hamas operative in Lebanon's Sidon

Israeli army spokesperson Avichay Adraee announced that in a joint operation by the Israeli army and Shin Bet, an Israeli Air Force strike targeted and killed Mohammad Shahin, the head of Hamas' operations directorate in Sidon, Lebanon.

According to Adraee, Shahin had recently been involved in planning attacks against Israeli civilians and military forces, allegedly under Iranian direction and funding.

He was considered a key Hamas operative with extensive experience and had reportedly played a role in orchestrating rocket attacks against Israel during the ongoing conflict.
