World Bank assessment estimates Lebanon’s damage and losses at $14 billion, with $12 billion in additional needs: Sources to LBCI

Sources from the Lebanese government told LBCI that the latest preliminary assessments by the World Bank estimate the total damages and losses in Lebanon at $14 billion.

In addition to these losses, the World Bank has identified a further $12 billion categorized under essential needs, which include reconstruction and recovery efforts.
