On LBCI, Egypt’s ambassador Alaa Moussa says Arab states show stronger commitment to Lebanon

Egypt’s Ambassador to Lebanon, Alaa Moussa, said his visit to President Joseph Aoun and Prime Minister Nawaf Salam carried a collective message of Arab support for Lebanon.

Speaking to LBCI, he noted that Arab ambassadors reaffirmed a clearer commitment to the Lebanese state and its people.

Ambassador Moussa said discussions with Aoun and Salam covered financial reforms and reconstruction efforts, emphasizing the state’s responsibility to push forward on key issues.

He added that once the government presents its reconstruction plan, it will receive backing from Arab nations.

Security was also on the agenda, with both Lebanese leaders reaffirming the state's commitment to asserting its authority across all its territory, Moussa said.

On Gaza, Moussa stated that Egypt supports a reconstruction plan that ensures residents remain in their land.

He added that these discussions will be brought to the upcoming emergency Arab summit in Cairo to secure concrete commitments from Arab nations.
