Clashes on Lebanon-Syria border leave several wounded, Lebanese army retaliates

Several people from the towns of Hawsh al-Sayyid Ali and Mecherfeh were injured in clashes along the Lebanese-Syrian border.

The incidents occurred after intense exchanges of fire between the two sides. In response, the Lebanese army returned fire.

However, reports later confirmed that two people were killed, and several others sustained injuries.
