Israeli military claims it killed Hezbollah Radwan Force battalion commander in Derdghaiya, South Lebanon

The Israeli military claimed that it killed a Hezbollah Radwan Force battalion commander in an airstrike on South Lebanon overnight.

Israeli army spokesperson Avichay Adraee said in a post on X that an Israeli Air Force aircraft targeted and killed Ahmad Adnan Bajija, describing him as "a battalion commander in Hezbollah’s Radwan Force" in the town of Derdghaiya, South Lebanon.

According to Adraee, "Bajija planned and carried out multiple operations against Israeli civilians and Israeli forces during the fighting."

He added that "in recent months, Bajija continued working on plans targeting Israel’s home front, making him a threat to the State of Israel and its citizens."

"The Israeli army will continue working to eliminate any threat to Israeli civilians," Adraee concluded.
