Lebanon lowers flag at Baabda Palace in mourning for Pope Francis

The Lebanese presidency lowered the national flag at Baabda Palace on Monday in mourning Pope Francis's death.

The gesture aligns with the official three-day mourning period declared by Prime Minister Nawaf Salam, during which flags will be flown at half-staff across all public institutions, municipalities, and government buildings.
