Customs officials at the Beirut Airport foil attempt to transport military uniforms

The state-run National News Agency reported on Friday that Customs officials at the Beirut International Airport foiled an attempt carried out by two passengers; one of them Lebanese and the other Syrian; to transport into Lebanon 76 military uniforms coming from Kuwait inside 4 suitcases weighing 125 Kg.    

After consulting the military prosecution, the case was referred to the Lebanese Army Intelligence Directorate to pursue further investigations with the 2 men.
