Grand Mufti Qabbani appoints 8 members at the Islamic Council

Based on the amended provisions of the legislative decree No. 18/1955, paragraph (c) of article 42, Grand Mufti Sheikh Mohammad Rashid Qabbani appointed on Friday members of the Islamic Council.

The 8 members are:

1-Dr. Mustafa Mansour
2-Sheikh AYman Rifaei
3-Attorney Hicham Mokmel
4-Attorney Fouad Matraji
5-Engineer Saad Eddine
6-Attorney Rehaat Badawi
7-Attorney Maher Sakkal
8-Attorney Omar Makawi

It is worth noting that the Grand Mufti has the right to appoint one-third of the members of the Islamic Council.
