Member of Hamas' political bureau to LBCI: The international community treats Israel as if it were a spoiled child that cannot be punished

Ghazi Hamad, a member of Hamas' political bureau, considered that "the international community treats Israel as if it were a spoiled child that cannot be punished."

In an interview on LBCI's "Nharkom Said" TV show, he said that "Israel believed that Hamas had limited capabilities and was limited to rockets, but this time a severe and painful blow was directed at Israel, unlike anything it has seen since 1948."

He added, "We have 35,000 fighters in the Gaza Strip and fighters in the West Bank. We know that if we want to fight the American and European-backed Israeli army, we must be highly prepared, and we have succeeded in developing ourselves and our capabilities under almost impossible conditions."

He continued, "I do not know what reasons prompted some Arab countries to normalize with Israel at the expense of the Palestinian cause and to give Israel legitimacy to live in the region."
