US National Security Advisor: It is 'inappropriate' for Israel to occupy Gaza in the long term

US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan stated on Friday that it is not "appropriate" for Israel to occupy Gaza in the long term, amid increasing speculation about the future of Palestinian territories.

Sullivan told reporters in Tel Aviv, "We do not consider it logical or appropriate for Israel to occupy Gaza or reoccupy Gaza in the long term."
