Israel investigates shooting at Israeli-Egyptian border

The Israeli army confirmed that it is investigating a "shooting at the Israeli-Egyptian border" and is in contact with the Egyptian side regarding this matter.

Israeli army spokesperson Avichay Adraee said via his account on X, "A few hours ago, a shooting incident occurred at the Egyptian border, and this matter is being investigated. Contact with the Egyptian side is also underway."
