Israel hopes Slovenian Parliament 'rejects' recognition of Palestinian state

Israeli Foreign Minister expressed hope on Thursday that the Slovenian parliament "rejects" the official recognition of a Palestinian state during a voting session scheduled for next Tuesday, following similar recognition by Spain, Ireland, and Norway a few days ago.

Israel Katz wrote on the X platform that "The Slovenian government's decision to recommend that the Slovenian Parliament recognize a Palestinian state rewards Hamas [...] I hope the Slovenian Parliament rejects this recommendation."
