IRGC: Iran and Resistance Axis will respond to Haniyeh's assassination

The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps said in a statement on Wednesday that the assassination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran "will be met with a severe and painful response."

It vowed that "Iran and the Resistance Axis will respond to this crime," referring to the armed groups allied with the Islamic Republic across the Middle East.
