Palestinian President Abbas condemns 'brutal Israeli aggression' after Nasrallah's death

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas on Saturday offered condolences to Hezbollah over the death of its leader Hassan Nasrallah in an Israeli airstrike, a statement from his office said.

Abbas also "offered his deep condolences to the Lebanese government and the brotherly Lebanese people, on the martyrdom of the civilian victims who fell as a result of the brutal Israeli aggression," the statement said.
