Syrian President Assad highlights regional humanitarian crisis in meeting with UN official

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, during a meeting with UN High Commissioner for Refugees Filippo Grandi, emphasized the severity of the humanitarian crisis affecting the entire region. 

President Assad reiterated Syria’s readiness to cooperate with international organizations, particularly the UNHCR, in addressing the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Lebanon despite the significant challenges Syria itself is currently facing.
