US Defense Secretary says no signs of investigation into leaks related to Israel

U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin stated on Wednesday that there are no indications of any investigation into department personnel regarding the leak of intelligence information related to Israel's preparations for a strike on Iran.

The secretary told reporters in Rome, "No names of any officials at the department have been mentioned in connection with this investigation."

The Federal Bureau of Investigation announced on Tuesday that it is looking into the leak of two highly classified documents discussing Israel's readiness to strike Iran.

Social media posts hinted, without providing evidence, that an investigation is underway involving a Defense Department employee for leaking the information.
