Yair Lapid calls for major political initiative to leverage military gains into regional settlement

Opposition leader Yair Lapid emphasized the need for Israel to undertake a significant political initiative to capitalize on its military successes and work toward a regional settlement that could transform the Middle East.

"Israel needs to set a vision and a destination for itself, but the government fails to do so because Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is afraid of minister Itamar Ben Gvir," Lapid stated.
