Syrian opposition group based in Turkey says Damascus is now 'without Bashar al-Assad'

Hadi Al-Bahra, leader of the main Syrian opposition faction abroad, stated on Sunday that "Damascus is now without Bashar al-Assad."

Two senior Syrian army officials told Reuters that Assad left Damascus on Sunday aboard a plane to an undisclosed destination, as Syrian opposition forces announced their entry into the capital with no signs of army presence.
