Saudi condemns 'outlaw groups' after clashes with Syria government forces

Saudi Arabia on Friday condemned "crimes" by "outlaw groups" after deadly clashes with security forces in Syria and reaffirmed its backing for the new authorities that deposed long-time ruler Bashar al-Assad.

"The Foreign Ministry expresses the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's condemnation of the crimes committed by outlaw groups in the Syrian Arab Republic and the targeting of security forces," it posted on its verified account on X.
