Israeli army says it killed gunmen who fired at its forces in Tasil, Syria

The Israeli army said on Thursday that it had killed several gunmen during an overnight operation in the town of Tasil in southern Syria.

The army stated that it ''carried out an operation in Tasil last night, during which it seized weapons and destroyed terrorist infrastructure."

It added that Israeli forces came under fire and responded with ground and airstrikes, killing "several gunmen."
