REPORT: Leila Abdel Latif launches series of predictions for Lebanon and the region
In her monthly TV appearance via LBCI’s “Tarikh Yachhad”, Leila Abdel Latif unveiled a series of new predictions on the local and regional levels.        

Lebanon                

- Some parties will try, once again, to drag the northern city of Tripoli towards havoc but will fail to do so.         
- The upcoming phase in Lebanon will witness more security and stability.

- The one billion dollar Saudi grant will not be the last of its kind; Former Prime Minister Saad Hariri's reputation will draw significant aid from the kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the security apparatuses in Lebanon.        

- Prime Minister Tammam Salam to shake hands with Future Movement leader Saad Hariri, to hold surprising meetings with leaders in a tour across the Lebanese regions.       

- Speaker Nabih Berri, National Struggle Front leader MP Walid Jumblatt and Saad Hariri to discuss a major entitlement in a meeting; Berri to declare the name of the next Lebanese president.         

- What is happening in the border town of Arsal is the "beginning of the end;" further bloodshed will be reported.           

- Director General of General Security Maj. Gen. Abbas Ibrahim and Saad Hariri to play a significant role in negotiations aiming to release Lebanese captives; all hostages to be freed thanks to the army. 

- The Lebanese army will not bow down to terrorism but will maintain security in spite of sporadic incidents.

- Extremism will not pose a threat to Lebanon as is the case in Iraq and Syria.        

- Calm to be restored in Arsal, Lebanese troops to maintain security and stability.        

- Arsal incidents will not be transferred to Beirut.           

- The new academic year is off to a shaky start; a swift settlement will be reached though.      

Gaza
         

- Gaza will score victory, a renewed war will not be in favor of Israel.       

- Spies found among Palestinians, Israeli concessions will be made.         

- The war on Gaza will unite the Palestinian people.            

- The reconstruction of Gaza is imminent.

Egypt    

- Security incidents and terrorist attacks to be reported; the Egyptian people and army will triumph and Abdel Fattah al-Sisi will maintain security. 
      
- Sisi is at risk but will be safe; his posters will be hoisted in Gaza.      

Syria       

- Syrian President Bashar al-Assad to visit Iran and other Arab countries, may head to Egypt to discuss a sensitive issue.           

- Reconstruction will be seen in 2015; pro- and anti- government citizens will return to Syria.

Libya       

- A breakthrough to be reported in Libya on the economic and political levels.       

- Seif al-Islam will gain power after being acquitted of all verdicts.            

Iraq      

- A significant change to take place on the ground in Iraq.       

- Christians to return to their homeland; Arbil to become another Dubai.          

- Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to play a key role in Iraq.              

Saudi Arabia       

- King Abdullah to launch initiatives in several countries.         

- Law allowing Saudi women to drive will see the light.         

International
           

- Deep sorrow to be reported in the United Arab Emirates and the Gulf Cooperation Council.        

- French President Francois Hollande's mandate will end; large protests will be staged in France.          

- Ebola to spread beyond Africa; may reach Arab countries.
