Report: 8 years after his death, Gaza Government remembers Yasser Arafat

Eight years after his death, and after the last commemoration in 2007 whereby members from Hamas and Fatah Movements clashed together killing more than 20 persons and injuring more than 10, today Gaza Government remembers the Death of the PLO Leader Yasser Arafat.

In this framework, Fatah Movement called for participating in any movements that pays a tribute to Arafat 8 years after his death.

On the memory of his death, LBCI visited his sister Khadija Arafat who preferred not to appear before media.

She said to LBCI that the late Palestinian President used to ask his citizens to love their country and work together for the benefit of their state.

It is worth mentioning that the Palestinian division deprives Fatah Movement from doing their activities since Hamas takeover.
