Slovak PM overcomes critical stage after assassination attempt

Slovak Defense Minister Robert Kalinak announced on Sunday that Prime Minister Robert Fico, who was targeted in an assassination attempt on Wednesday, has passed the critical stage.

Kalinak, who also serves as Deputy Prime Minister, stated, 'There is no longer a direct threat to Fico's life,' but emphasized that his condition 'remains serious and requires strict care.'
