Ties with Russia entering new era, North Korea's Kim says

North Korea's relations with Russia have reached a new high point and President Vladimir Putin's visit to Pyongyang will further strengthen ties, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un said Wednesday.

"Relations between our countries are entering a new era of blossoming, which cannot be compared even with the period of Korean-Soviet relations of the last century," Kim was cited by Russian news agencies as saying, adding he believed Putin's visit would further "strengthen" their countries' friendship.
