FATF removes Turkey from grey list for money laundering

The Financial Action Task Force (FATF), the international body responsible for coordinating and evaluating anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing policies, announced on Friday that it has removed Turkey from the "grey list" of countries subject to special scrutiny.

The organization, headquartered in Paris, stated in a statement that Turkey has made significant progress in improving its anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing system.
