OPEC+ unlikely to change oil production policy at meeting on August 1

Three sources told Reuters that it is unlikely that the OPEC+ ministerial meeting next month will recommend changing the alliance's production policy, which includes a plan to start increasing oil production starting in October.

The Joint Ministerial Monitoring Committee of the OPEC+ alliance, which includes the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and allies led by Russia, will hold an online meeting on August 1 to review market conditions.
