EU and Serbia sign 'critical raw materials' deal: AFP

The EU and Serbia's government signed a deal Friday to develop the supply of battery materials during a "critical raw materials summit", just days after Belgrade allowed work to resume at a disputed lithium mining project.

"There will be no project without full protection, and we know it will happen because we are bringing the best experts from Europe to Serbia," said Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic ahead of the signing ceremony.
